On July 10, 2026, the Department of Physics celebrated last year’s graduates as part of the annual academic ceremony. The graduates were honored, and the Student Award, the Young Physicist Award, and the Hartmut Hotop Prize were presented. In addition to musical performances by the Nadiia Zhurba Trio, Prof. Dr. Jörg Pretz provided further entertainment with his talk titled “Physics and Music—From the Garden Hose to the Trombone.”
The Department of Physics would like to thank the Physics Alumni Association for its generous support of this event, as well as the Physics Student Council for its active assistance, including in hosting the guests!
