Early Bird Registration for the German Conference of Women in Physics 2026 Ends June 1
Only a few days remain to register at a reduced rate for the 28th German Conference of Women in Physics (Deutsche Physikerinnentagung). Early bird registration closes on June 1, 2026. From June 2, 2026, standard registration fees will apply.
The conference will take place from September 28 to 30, 2026, at RPTU in Kaiserslautern, Germany, under the patronage of the German minister of research, Dorothee Bär. It brings together researchers, students, and professionals from academia and industry, offering a platform for exchange on current developments in physics and related technology fields.
The scientific program covers topics such as spin physics, quantum technologies, photonics, and solid-state physics. The conference is complemented by career events, soft skill workshops, and numerous networking opportunities.
Confirmed keynote speakers include:
- Prof. Dr. Monika Ritsch-Marte, Medical University of Innsbruck
- Prof. Dr. Karin Jacobs, Saarland University
- Prof. Dr. Sibylle Günter, Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics Greifswald
The full list of invited speakers is available here.
As hotel availability in Kaiserslautern tends to be limited during this period, the organizing committee recommends registering and booking accommodation early.
