PD Dr. Johannes L'huillier appointed honorary professor of the department

Today, Dr. Johannes L'huillier, a distinguished scientist in the field of laser physics, photonics and laser materials processing, was appointed honorary professor of the department.
Since November 2023, he has been managing director and scientific director of the Institute for Surface and Coating Technology (IFOS).
As a private lecturer at the department, he has been extremely involved in teaching for several years and contributes significantly to scientific education.
This appointment recognizes his outstanding expertise and many years of commitment.
