"Nacht, die Wissen schafft" at RPTU

On May 9, the “Nacht, die Wissen schafft” in Kaiserslautern presented hands-on science, inspiring young and old alike. Not only the RPTU in Kaiserslautern opened its doors for this event, but research institutes and other innovative facilities in the city also gave visitors exciting access to the world of science on this evening.

With hands-on science, the general public was given the opportunity to take a fun and fascinating look behind the scenes of the research landscape in Kaiserslautern. Under the motto “Knowledge creates the future”, the importance of scientific research for our daily lives and our common future was made clear.

After the opening at 42kaiserslautern, visitors were able to explore the other locations with free shuttle buses and enjoy the diverse program of experiments, exhibitions and lectures. Demonstrations, hands-on stations and information stands immersed visitors in the fascinating world of science. Our researchers presented their current projects interactively, providing insights into the innovative work of their city.

After a captivating fire show, everyone celebrated together at the grand finale, the after-science party, with good music and a light show in the RPTU sports hall.
