Prof. Elke Neu-Ruffing was accepted as a new member of the Quantum Initiative RLP on April 10, 2024.
Professor Dr. Elke Neu-Ruffing
Our research group investigates novel quantum sensors.
Point defects in solids are highly-sensitive atomically small sensors for magnetic fields, electric fields and local temperature. We investigate novel quantum sensors e.g. in fluorescent proteins and the applications of quantum sensors in material science, the life sciences and chemistry.
