We had the pleasure of hosting Milena Horvath, a postdoctoral researcher in Hans Christoph Nägerl’s group in Innsbruck. During her visit, she gave a seminar on May 8 for this semester’s Laser and Quantum Optics cycle about “Non-equilibrium Dynamics of One-Dimensional Strongly Correlated Bosons”. In her talk, she presented some very interesting research work carried out during her PhD. Milena also spent a few days visiting our labs and discussing with the theoreticians in our department. We really enjoyed having her here and the many stimulating discussions throughout her visit, and we hope this will be just the beginning of further exchanges!
