Preparation courses

Our advice: Take advantage of our offer and refresh your math skills in advance!

Mathematics preparation course for degree programmes in the Department of Physics: Mathematics preparation courses take place at the start of the semester, but before the actual start of lectures. It offers the ideal preparation for your studies. In addition to reviewing important maths topics, you can also take part in the introductory weeks organised by the Physics student council and get to know the other first-year students and the campus. You will always find up-to-date information here.

Online-Mathematik Brückenkurs @ RPTU: For independent preparation for your studies, there is also the free online maths bridge course, which was developed in cooperation with the Department of Mathematics at RPTU. Here you can also work on specific topics. You can find further information here.

Welcome by the student representatives - The Physics Student Council

The Physics Student Council organizes a variety of introductory weeks every semester in parallel to the preliminary mathematics course. In addition to many helpful information events, these serve in particular to get to know your future fellow students and the campus better. Further information can be found here!

We wish you every success and a good start to your studies!
