Daimler-Benz Scholarship

[Translate to Englisch:]

Jun.-Prof. Dr. Christina Jörg

Christina Jörg has been awarded a Daimler-Benz scholarship for her project "Non-linear organic-polymer composite materials for photonic 3D structures", in which she will research the production of 3D structures from an organic-polymer mixture using 3D microprinting.

Every year, the Daimler-Benz Foundation awards twelve scholarships to selected post-doctoral students, junior professors and junior research group leaders. The aim of these scholarships is to promote the independence and creativity of young scientists and at the same time to facilitate career advancement for committed researchers in the post-doctoral phase.
Each scholarship is endowed with 40,000€ for two years, which can be used for various purposes, e.g. for support from assistant scientists, the purchase of equipment, the financing of research trips or participation in conferences. In addition, the Daimler and Benz Foundation promotes interdisciplinary dialog and collaboration through regular meetings of young scientists within the growing network of scholarship holders.
